Kidmas

The holidays can be joyful, but for many military families they also bring long hours and time apart. Kidmas, hosted by Hearts on Standby, created space for connection and joy through a snowball fight, cookie decorating, and ornament making. Thank you to Chick-fil-A Palm Bay, Florida, for providing the entrées. Kidmas is a reminder that military families are seen, supported, and never alone.

When the government shutdown placed unexpected financial strain on military families, Hearts on Standby stepped in to meet an immediate need.

We organized and stocked an emergency food pantry to ensure service members and their families had access to essential groceries and household items during a time of uncertainty. This effort provided practical support, dignity, and reassurance—reminding families they were not facing the challenge alone.
